Bruce Watson

Bruce has over 40 years industry experience and expertise-based progressing to senior level positions across three continents. His dominant experience is in leading airline hub operations at major airports, new airport commissioning, service recovery as well as employee engagement, empowerment, and introduction of new methods and process. Having worked in Canada, Hong Kong, the Middle East, Central America and Australia Bruce has gathered deep experience and understanding in the complexities of working in challenging and multi-cultural environments. As Vice President Ramp Services for dnata at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Bruce oversaw a staff of 5000, responsible for providing all below the wing services to Emirates and all 120 customer airlines. During his time with dnata Bruce was part of the senior management team, which managed a five-fold expansion of the business at the Dubai hub. This included opening three new terminal facilities, managing the complexities of a constantly expanding hub, including employee leadership, long term strategic planning, short term tactical planning as well a process improvement and the introduction of new methods and process to run the business.
