King Salman International Airport, Riyadh

The future of Saudi Arabia’s aviation is taking shape in Riyadh at King Salman International Airport. Expected to begin operations by 2030, the airport covers approximately 57 sq. kms. and features six parallel runways. The airport is a strategic investment in connectivity, tourism, logistics, and economic diversification, positioning Riyadh as a leading global aviation hub ahead of Expo 2030 and beyond.

Our most experienced Subject Matter Experts (SME) are supporting Alix Partners who are providing ‘leading edge’ advice and support to the airport’s investment and commercial management team. Tasks to date have included advice on organisation & management, master planning review, private sector participation (PSP), investment strategy and organisational performance and efficiency. Future work includes real estate categorisation, commercial development planning and identification of PSP partners.

This assignment draws upon over 25 years of experience gained while working at the world’s leading capital international airports in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
