Announcement: Expansion Of Pegasus Aviation Advisors

Pegasus Aviation Advisors announces the establishment of a subsidiary in Ireland, Pegasus Aviation Advisors Limited, with Desmond (Des) Ross serving as Managing Director of the Ireland Office.

Jim Robinson, Managing Director of Pegasus Aviation Advisors, says: ” Ireland was our country of first choice to establish a Pegasus branded subsidiary, as it has, for over 40 years, supplied expertise in many key fields of aviation planning, organization, and asset management across the globe.  As the aviation sector addresses the multiple challenges of the next 20 years in automation, digitalization, training, and environmental sustainability, we will be ready to take part in transformation of the sector. Since 2014 we have been supporting the development of airlines, airports, ANSPs  in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Netherlands, to name just a few.”

Des has been at the forefront of the aviation industry for over 30 years with wide executive level experience in flight operations, airport management, safety regulation, and corporatization. He has served as Head of the Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) in Vanuatu, as EEAS Chief of Staff, Juba, South Sudan and led HR and infrastructure capacity development projects in Croatia, Brazil and India. He played a key role in the Afghanistan (National Airports Project) in 2016, then as Deputy Head, DOT Namibia and more recently as Aviation Projects Director, Afghanistan.  A graduate AVSEC Professional Manager with ICAO, he has held key roles in aviation security as an AVSEC expert and practitioner.  Des is a very experienced project manager able to enhance delivery based on his wide knowledge of the sector. Des says:
